Notations, Yohn 1
1The WORD was in the beginning. The WORD was with ALMIGHTY YHWH. The WORD was ALMIGHTY YHWH. 2The WORD was in the beginning with ALMIGHTY YHWH. 3HE made all things. Anything that was made was not made without HIM. 4Life was in HIM. The life was the LIGHT of men.
5The LIGHT shined in darkness and the darkness did not comprehend it. 6-7A man (Yohn) was sent from ALMIGHTY YHWH and came for a witness to bear witness of the LIGHT that all men might believe through HIM. 8Yohn was not that LIGHT. He was sent to bear witness of that LIGHT. 9THAT was the true LIGHT WHO lights every man who comes into the world. 10HE was in the world. HE made the world. The world did not know HIM. 11HE came to HIS own. HIS own did not receive HIM. {HE made the world because HE is the WORD of ALMIGHTY YHWH. When ALMIGHTY YHWH spoke in the beginning, those WORDS were the SON. Therefore, HE made the world.} 12-13HE gave to as many as received HIM power to become the sons of ALMIGHTY YHWH. That is to those who believe on HIS name who were not born of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man but of ALMIGHTY YHWH. 14The WORD was made flesh and lived among us. We saw HIS glory (the glory as of the only BEGOTTEN of the FATHER) full of grace and truth.
15Yohn bare witness of HIM. He cried, “THIS was HE of WHOM I spoke. HE WHO comes after me is preferred before me. HE was before me. 16We have all received of HIS fullness and grace for grace. 17Moses gave the law. Grace and truth came by Y’SH (the ANOINTED ONE). 18No man has seen ALMIGHTY YHWH at any time. {This is a very specific statement that no man has ever seen HIM, contrary to what any may otherwise believe. HE fills up the heavens and the earth so it would be an impossibility for any to see HIM.} The only begotten SON is in the bosom of the FATHER and has declared HIM.”
19This is the record of Yohn. The Yiews sent priests and Levites from Yierusalem to ask him, “Who are you?” 20He confessed and did not deny. He confessed, “I am not the ANOINTED ONE.” 21They asked him, “What then? Are you EliYH?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you that prophet?” He answered, “No.” 22They said, “Who are you? Tell us so that we may give an answer to those who sent us. What do you say of yourself?” 23He said, “I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way of the ANOINTED ONE,’ as the prophet YsaYH said.” 24Those who were sent were of the Pharisees. 25They asked him, “Why do you baptize then if you are not the ANOINTED ONE, EliYH or that prophet?” 26Yohn answered, “I baptize with water. There stands ONE among you WHOM you don’t know. 27It is HE WHO is coming after me and is preferred before me, WHOSE shoe’s latchet I am not worthy to unloose.” 28These things were done in Bethabara beyond Yiordan where Yohn was baptizing.
29The next day, Yohn saw Y’SH coming to him. He said, “See the LAMB of ALMIGHTY YHWH WHO takes away the sin of the world. 30THIS is HE of WHOM I said, ‘After me a MAN comes WHO is preferred before me. HE was before me.’ 31I did not know HIM. I knew that HE should be made manifest to YisraEL. Therefore, I am come baptizing with water. 32I saw the SPIRIT coming down from heaven like a dove. It sat on HIM. 33I did not know HIM. HE WHO sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘HE on WHOM you see the SPIRIT coming down and remaining on HIM is HE who baptizes with the HOLY GHOST.’ 34I saw and confirm that HE is the SON of ALMIGHTY YHWH.” 35-36Yohn and two of his disciples looked at Y’SH the next day and Yohn said, “See the LAMB of ALMIGHTY YHWH.”
37The two disciples heard Y’SH speaking and they followed HIM. 38Y’SH turned and saw them following HIM. HE said, “What do you want?” They said to HIM, “MASTER, where are YOU staying?” 39HE said, “Come and see.” They came and saw where HE was staying. They stayed with HIM that day. It was about the tenth hour. 40One of the two who heard Yohn speak and followed HIM was Andrew (Simon Peter’s brother). 41He first found his own brother (Simon) and said to him, “We have found the ANOINTED ONE.” 42He brought him to Y’SH. When Y’SH saw him, HE said, “You are Simon (the son of Yona). You shall be called Cephas (a rock).”
43The following day, Y’SH would go into Galilee. HE found Philip and said, “Follow ME.” 44Philip was of Bethsaida (the city of Andrew and Peter). 45Philip found NathanaEL and said, “We have found HIM of WHOM Moses wrote in the law and the prophets, (Y’SH of Nazareth – the son of Yioseph).” 46NathanaEL said, “Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth?” Philip said, “Come and see.” 47Y’SH saw NathanaEL coming to HIM. HE said, “See an YisraELite indeed in whom is no guile!” 48NathanaEL said, “Where do YOU know me from?” Y’SH answered, “Before Philip called you under the fig tree, I saw you.” 49NathanaEL said, “MASTER, YOU are the SON of ALMIGHTY YHWH. YOU are the KING of YisraEL.” 50Y’SH asked, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ you believe? You shall see greater things than these. 51Hereafter, you shall see heaven open and the angELs of ALMIGHTY YHWH going up and coming down on the SON of man.” (The term ‘the son of man’ is not used only in relation to the ANOINTED ONE, but is also used in the Old Testament to apply to others.}
Notations, Yohn 2
1There was a marriage in Cana of Galilee on the third day. The mother of Y’SH was there. 2Both Y’SH and HIS disciples were called to the marriage. 3They wanted wine. The mother of Y’SH said to HIM, “They have no wine.” 4Y’SH said to her, “What do I have to do with you? MY hour is not yet come.” 5HIS mother said to the servants, “Whatever HE says to you, do it.” 6There were set there six waterpots of stone after the manner of the purifying of the Yiews. Their capacity was about 18 to 27 gallons apiece. 7Y’SH said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” They filled them up to the brim. 8HE said, “Draw out now and serve to the governor of the feast.” 9The ruler of the feast tasted the water made wine. He did not know what it was. The servants who drew the water knew. The governor of the feast called the bridegroom. 10He said, “Most men serve good wine at the beginning. When men have well drunk, they serve that which is worse. You have kept the good wine till now.” 11Y’SH did this beginning of miracles in Cana of Galilee. HE manifested HIS glory. HIS disciples believed on HIM.12After this, HE, HIS mother, HIS brethren and HIS disciples went down to Capernaum. They stayed there a few days. 13The Yiews’ Passover was at hand. Y’SH went up to Yierusalem. 14HE found those who sold oxen, sheep and doves in the temple and the changers of money sitting there. 15HE made a whip of small cords and drove them, their sheep and oxen out of the temple. HE poured out the changers’ money. HE overthrew the tables. 16HE said to those who sold doves, “Take these things out of here. Don’t make MY FATHER’S house a house of merchandise.” 17HIS disciples remembered that it was written, “The zeal of YOUR house has eaten ME up.” 18The Yiews said to HIM, “What sign do YOU show us seeing that YOU do these things?” 19Y’SH said, “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up.” 20The Yiews said, “It took forty-six years to build this temple. Will YOU raise it up in three days?” 21But HE spoke of the temple of HIS body. 22When HE was risen from the dead, HIS disciples remembered that HE had said this to them. They believed the scripture and the WORD which Y’SH had said. 23In Yierusalem at the Passover in the feast day, many believed on HIS name when they saw the miracles HE did. 24Y’SH did not commit HIMSELF to them because HE knew all. 25HE did not need that any should testify of man for HE knew what was in man.
Notations, Yohn 3
1Nicodemus was a Pharisee and a ruler of the Yiews. 2He came to Y’SH at night and said to HIM, “MASTER, we know that YOU are a teacher come from ALMIGHTY YHWH. No man can do these miracles that you do except ALMIGHTY YHWH is with him.” 3Y’SH said to him, “Except a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of ALMIGHTY YHWH.” 4Nicodemus said, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” 5Y’SH answered, “Except a man is born of water and of the SPIRIT, he cannot enter the kingdom of ALMIGHTY YHWH. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the SPIRIT is spirit. 7Don’t be surprised that I said to you, you must be born again. 8The wind blows where it will. You hear its sound but cannot tell from where it comes and where it goes. So is every one who is born of the SPIRIT.” 9Nicodemus asked, “How can these things be?” 10Y’SH answered, “Are you a master of YisraEL and don’t know these things? 11 We speak that we know and testify that we have seen. You do not receive our witness. 12If I have told you earthly things and you don’t believe, how shall you believe if I tell you of heavenly things? 13No man has gone up to heaven but HE WHO came down from heaven – the SON of man WHO is in heaven. 14-15As Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, even so the SON of man must be lifted up that whoever believes in HIM should not perish but have eternal life. 16ALMIGHTY YHWH so loved the world that HE gave HIS only begotten SON that whoever believes in HIM should not perish but have everlasting life. 17ALMIGHTY YHWH did not send HIS SON into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through HIM might be saved. 18He who believes on HIM is not condemned. He who does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten SON of ALMIGHTY YHWH. 19This is the condemnation – that light is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. 20Everyone who does evil hates the light. He does not come to the light lest his deeds should be reproved. 21But he who does truth comes to the light that his deeds may be made manifest that they are done in ALMIGHTY YHWH.” 22Y’SH and HIS disciples came into Yiudea. HE waited there with them and baptized. 23Yohn, also, was baptizing in Aenon near Salim because there was much water there. They came and were baptized. 24Yohn was not yet thrown into prison. 25There arose a question between some of Yohn’s disciples and the Yiews about purifying. 26They came to Yohn and said to him, “Master, HE WHO was with you beyond Yiordan to WHOM you bare witness baptizes. All come to HIM.” 27Yohn answered, “A man can receive nothing except it is given him from heaven. 28You, yourselves, confirm that I said, ‘I am not the ANOINTED ONE but I am sent before HIM.’ 29He who has the bride is the BRIDEGROOM, but the friend of the BRIDEGROOM who stands and hears HIM rejoices greatly because of the BRIDEGROOM’s voice. This (my joy) is fulfilled. 30HE must increase but I must decrease. 31HE WHO comes from above is above all. He who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. HE WHO comes from heaven is above all. 32HE testifies what HE has seen and heard. No man receives HIS testimony. 33HE who has received HIS testimony has set to his seal that ALMIGHTY YHWH is true. 34HE WHOM ALMIGHTY YHWH has sent speaks the WORDs of ALMIGHTY YHWH. ALMIGHTY YHWH does not give the SPIRIT by measure to HIM. 35The FATHER loves the SON and has given all things into HIS hand. 36He who believes on the SON has everlasting life. He who does not believe the SON shall not see life but the anger of ALMIGHTY YHWH abides on him.”
Notations, Yohn 4
1Y’SH knew how the Pharisees had heard that HE made and baptized more disciples than Yohn. 2Y’SH (HIMSELF) did not baptize. HIS disciples did. 3So HE left Yiudea and went again into Galilee. 4-5HE came to a city of Samaria (Sychar) near the parcel of ground that Yiacob gave to his son (Yioseph.) 6Yiacob’s well was there. Y’SH was tired from his journey and sat on the well about the sixth hour. 7A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Y’SH said to her, “Give ME a drink.” 8HIS disciples were gone away to the city to buy something to eat. 9The woman of Samaria said to HIM, “How is it that YOU (a Yiew) ask drink of me who am a woman of Samaria. The Yiews have no dealings with the Samaritans?” 10Y’SH answered, “If you knew the gift of ALMIGHTY YHWH and WHO says to you, ‘Give ME a drink’, you would have asked of HIM and HE would have given you living water.” 11The woman said to HIM, “SIR, YOU have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. From where did YOU get the living water? 12Are you greater than our father (Yiacob) who gave us the well and drank of it himself and his children and cattle?” 13Y’SH answered, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again. 14But whoever drinks of the water that I give him shall never thirst. The water that I give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” {Note that, even though HE is talking to a female, HE uses the term ‘him’ in reply. Many times in the holy writings, commands to ‘he’ or ‘him’ apply to male and female alike. As in the beginning, the ALMIGHTY created ‘man’ and made ‘them’, that is ‘man’, male and female. So, ‘man’ or ‘men’ is to HIM not necessarily only male, but sometimes female as well.} 15The woman said, “SIR, give me this water that I don’t thirst, neither come here to draw.” 16Y’SH said, “Go, call your husband and come here.” 17The woman said, “I have no husband.” Y’SH said to her, “You have well said, ‘I have no husband.’ 18You have had five husbands. He whom you now have is not your husband. In that you said truly.” 19The woman said to HIM, “SIR, I perceive that you are a prophet. 20Our fathers worshipped in this mountain. You say that in Yierusalem is the place where men ought to worship.” {Here, again, the term ‘men’ is applied to herself by not only herself in this verse, but, also, by the SAVIOUR in the next verse.} 21Y’SH said, “Woman, the hour comes when you shall neither in this mountain nor yet at Yierusalem worship the FATHER. 22You don’t know what you worship. We know what we worship for salvation is of the Yiews. 23But the hour comes and now is when the true worshippers shall worship the FATHER in SPIRIT and in truth. The FATHER looks for such to worship HIM. 24ALMIGHTY YHWH is a SPIRIT. They who worship HIM must worship HIM in SPIRIT and in truth.” {Here, the SAVIOUR says that the ALMIGHTY is a SPIRIT. HE, though a FATHER (to the SON), nevertheless, does not have flesh and blood as the SON and all mortals do. The WORD was made flesh and lived among us. So, the blood running in the veins of the SON was human blood, because the FATHER has no blood.} 25The woman said to HIM, “I know that the ANOINTED ONE comes. When HE is come, HE will tell us all things.” 26Y’SH said to her, “I WHO speak to you am HE.“
27HIS disciples came and were surprised that HE talked with the woman. Yet, no man asked, “What are YOU looking for?” or, “Why do YOU talk with her?” 28The woman left her water pot and went her way into the city. 29She said to the men, “Come see a MAN WHO told me all things that I ever did. Isn’t this the ANOINTED ONE?” 30They went out of the city and came to HIM. 31Meanwhile, HIS disciples urged HIM, “MASTER, eat.” 32But HE said to them, “I have to eat that you don’t know of.” 33The disciples questioned one of another, “Has any man brought HIM anything to eat?” 34Y’SH said, “MINE to eat is to do the will of HIM WHO sent ME and to finish HIS work. 35Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months. Then the harvest comes?’ Lift up your eyes. Look on the fields. They are white already to harvest. 36He who reaps receives wages and gathers fruit to life eternal that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. 37Herein is that saying true, ‘One sows and another reaps.’ 38I sent you to reap that on which you did not labor. Other men labored and you are entered into their labors.” 39Many of the Samaritans of that city believed on HIM for the saying of the woman who testified, “HE told me all that ever I did.” 40When the Samaritans came to HIM, they asked HIM that HE would linger a little while with them. HE did for two days. 41Many more believed because of HIS own WORD. 42 They said to the woman, “We believe but not because of your saying. We have heard HIM ourselves and know that HE is, indeed, the ANOINTED ONE (the SAVIOR of the world).” {Notice that HE seemed to accept not only the Samaritans but also the woman who had had five husbands.} 43After two days, HE left there and went into Galilee. 44Y’SH (HIMSELF) testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country. 45When HE came into Galilee, the Galilaeans received HIM. They had seen all the things that HE did at Yierusalem at the feast, for they also went to the feast. 46So Y’SH came again into Cana of Galilee where HE made the water wine. There was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum. 47When he heard that Y’SH had come out of Yiudea into Galilee, he went to HIM and asked HIM to come down and heal his son. He was at the point of death. 48Y’SH said to him, “Except you see signs and wonders you will not believe.” 49The nobleman said to HIM, “Sir, come down or my child will die.” 50Y’SH said to him, “Go your way. Your son lives.” The man believed the WORD that Y’SH had spoken to him and went his way. 51As he was going down, his servants met him and told him, “Your son lives.” 52He asked them the hour when he began to heal. They said to him, “The fever left him yesterday at the seventh hour.” 53So the father knew it was at the same hour Y’SH said to him, “Your son lives.” He and his whole house believed. 54This is again the second miracle that Y’SH did when he came out of Yiudea into Galilee.
Notations, Yohn 5
1There was a feast of the Yiews. Y’SH went up to Yierusalem. 2At Yierusalem by the sheep market is a pool with five porches called ‘Bethesda.’ 3A great number of impotent folk – blind, halt, withered – lay in the porches waiting for the moving of the water. 4An angEL went down at times into the pool and troubled the water. Whoever stepped in first after the troubling of the water was made whole of whatever disease he had. 5-6Y’SH saw a man there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years and knew that he had been that way a long time. HE said to him, “Will you be made whole?” 7The impotent man answered, “SIR, I have no man when the water is troubled to put me into the pool. While I am coming, another steps down before me.” 8Y’SH said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” 9The man was immediately made whole and took up his bed and walked. That was on the Sabbath. 10The Yiews said to HIM who was cured, “It is the Sabbath day. It is not lawful for you to carry your bed.” 11He answered them, “HE WHO made me whole said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk’”. 12They asked him, “What MAN is HE WHO said, ‘Take up your bed and walk?’” 13He who was healed did not know WHO HE was. Y’SH had gone away, a crowd being in that place. 14Afterward, Y’SH found him in the temple. HE said, “You are whole. Sin no more lest a worse thing come to you.” 15The man left and told the Yiews that HE was Y’SH WHO had made him whole. 16The Yiews persecuted Y’SH and wanted to kill HIM because HE had done these things on the Sabbath day. 17But Y’SH answered them, “My FATHER works today and I work.” 18The Yiews wanted the more to kill HIM because HE not only had broken the Sabbath, but said also that ALMIGHTY YHWH was HIS FATHER, making HIMSELF equal with ALMIGHTY YHWH. 19Y’SH said to them, “The SON can do nothing of HIMSELF but what HE sees the FATHER do. What things HE does, the SON does likewise. 20The FATHER loves the SON and shows HIM all things that HE does. HE will show HIM greater works than these that you may wonder. 21-22As the FATHER raises up the dead and makes them alive, even so the SON makes alive whom HE will. 22The FATHER judges no man but has committed all judgment to the SON that all men should honor the SON even as they honor the FATHER. HE who does not honor the SON does not honor the FATHER WHO has sent HIM. 24He who hears MY WORD and believes on HIM WHO sent ME has everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation. He is passed from death to life. 25The hour is coming and now is when the dead shall hear the voice of the SON of ALMIGHTY YHWH and those who hear shall live. 26As the FATHER has life in HIMSELF, so HE has given to the SON to have life in HIMSELF. 27HE has given HIM authority to execute judgment, also, because HE is the SON of man. 28-29Don’t wonder at this. The hour is coming in which all who are in the graves shall hear HIS voice and come out. Those who have done good shall come out to the resurrection of life. Those who have done evil shall come out to the resurrection of damnation. {Notice here that the ‘resurrection of life’ and ‘resurrection of damnation’ are tied by the SON, to ‘done good’ and ‘done evil.’} 30I can of MY own SELF do nothing. As I hear, I judge. MY judgment is just because I don’t look for MY own will but I look for the will of the FATHER WHO has sent ME. 31If I witness for MYSELF, MY witness is not true. 32There is another who witnesses for ME. I know that the witness which HE witnesses of ME is true. 33You sent to Yohn. He witnessed to the truth. 34I do not receive the testimony from man. I say these things that you might be saved. 35He was a burning and a shining light. You were willing for a while to rejoice in his light. 36But I have greater witness than Yohn. The works I do which the FATHER has given ME to finish witnesses for ME that the Father has sent ME. 37The FATHER (HIMSELF) WHO has sent ME, has witnessed for ME. You have neither heard HIS voice at any time nor seen HIS shape. 38You do not have HIS WORD abiding in you. You do not believe HIM WHOM HE has sent. 39Search the scriptures. In them you think you have eternal life. They testify of ME. 40You will not come to ME that you might have life. 41I do not receive honor from men. 42But I know you that you do not have the love of ALMIGHTY YHWH in you. 43I am come in MY FATHER’s name. You do not receive ME. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him. 44How can you believe those who receive honor one of another and do not look for the honor that comes from ALMIGHTY YHWH only? 45Do not think that I will accuse you to the FATHER. There is one who accuses you – Moses, in whom you trust. 46If you had believed Moses, you would have believed ME. He wrote of ME. 47But if you do not believe his writings, how shall you believe MY WORDs?”
Notations, Yohn 6
1Y’SH went over the sea of Galilee (Tiberias). 2A great number followed HIM because they saw HIS miracles HE did on those who were diseased. 3Y’SH went up into a mountain. HE sat with HIS disciples. 4The passover (a feast of the Yiews) was near. 5Y’SH saw a great company come to HIM. HE said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread that these may eat?” 6HE said this to prove him. HE knew (HIMSELF) what HE would do. 7Philip answered him, “Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not enough for them that every one of them may take a little.” 8-9One of HIS disciples, Andrew (Simon Peter’s brother) said to HIM, “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish. But what are they among so many?” 10Y’SH said, “Make the men sit down.” There was much grass in the place. The men (about five thousand) sat down. 11Y’SH took the loaves. When HE had given thanks, HE distributed to the disciples. The disciples distributed as much of the loaves and the fish as they wanted to those who were set down. 12When they were filled, HE said to HIS disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain that nothing is lost.” 13They gathered them together and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which remained over and above that which had been eaten. 14Those men, when they had seen the miracle that Y’SH did, said, “THIS is of a truth that PROPHET WHO should come into the world.” 15When Y’SH perceived that they would come and take HIM by force to make HIM a king, HE left and went again into a mountain alone. 16-17When even was come, HIS disciples went down to the sea into a ship. They went over the sea toward Capernaum. It was dark and Y’SH was not come to them. 18The sea arose because of a great wind. 19So, when they had rowed about three miles, they saw Y’SH walking on the sea. HE was drawing near the ship. They were afraid. 20But HE said, “It is I. Don’t be afraid.” 21They willingly received HIM into the ship. Immediately, the ship was at the land where they went.
22The day following, the people who stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other boat there except the one HIS disciples entered and that Y’SH did not go with HIS disciples into the boat but that his disciples were gone away alone. 23However, other boats came from Tiberias near the place where they ate bread after Y’SH had given thanks. 24When the people saw that Y’SH and his disciples were not there, they, also, took shipping and came to Capernaum. They were looking for Y’SH. 25When they had found HIM on the other side of the sea, they said to HIM, “MASTER, when did YOU come here?” 26Y’SH answered them, “You are not looking for ME because you saw the miracles but because you ate of the loaves and were filled. 27Don’t labor for food which perishes but for that which endures to everlasting life which the SON of man shall give to you. ALMIGHTY YHWH has sealed HIM.”
28They said to HIM, “What shall we do that we might work the works of ALMIGHTY YHWH?” 29Y’SH answered, “This is the work of ALMIGHTY YHWH, that you believe on HIM WHOM HE has sent.” 30They said to HIM, “What sign do YOU show that we may see and believe YOU? What do YOU work? 31Our fathers ate manna in the desert. It is written, ‘HE gave them bread from heaven to eat.’” 32Y’SH said to them, “Moses did not give you that bread from heaven. MY FATHER gives you the true bread from heaven. 33The bread of ALMIGHTY YHWH is HE WHO comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
34They said, “Y’SH, evermore give us this bread.” 35Y’SH said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to ME shall never hunger. HE who believes on ME shall never thirst. 36But I said to you that you, also, have seen ME and don’t believe. 37All who the FATHER gives ME shall come to ME. I will not throw out him who comes to ME. 38I came down from heaven, not to do MY own will, but the will of HIM WHO sent ME. 39This is the will of the FATHER WHO has sent ME, that of all who HE has given ME I should lose nothing – but should raise them up again at the last day. 40This is the will of HIM WHO sent ME that every one who sees the SON and believes on HIM may have everlasting life. I will raise him up at the last day.” 41The Yiews murmured at HIM because HE said, “I am the bread which came down from heaven.” 42They said, “Is this not Y’SH (the son of Yioseph whose father and mother we know)? How is it then that he says, ‘I came down from heaven?’” 43Y’SH answered, “Don’t murmur among yourselves. 44No man can come to ME except the FATHER WHO has sent ME draws him. I will raise him up at the last day. 45It is written in the prophets, ‘They shall be all taught of ALMIGHTY YHWH.’ Every man who has heard and learned of the FATHER comes to ME. 46Not that any man has seen the FATHER except HIM WHO is of ALMIGHTY YHWH. HE has seen the Father. 47He who believes on ME has everlasting life. 48I am that bread of life. 49Your fathers ate manna in the wilderness and are dead. 50This is the bread which comes down from heaven that a man may eat it and not die. 51I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever. The bread that I will give is MY flesh which I will give for the life of the world.” 52The Yiews argued among themselves saying, “How can this man give us HIS flesh to eat?” 53Y’SH said to them, “Except you eat the flesh of the SON of man and drink HIS blood, you have no life in you. 54Whoever eats MY flesh and drinks MY blood has eternal life. I will raise him up at the last day. 55MY flesh is food indeed and MY blood is drink indeed. 56He who eats MY flesh and drinks MY blood lives in ME and I in him. 57As the living FATHER has sent ME and I live by the FATHER, so he who eats ME shall live by ME. 58This is that bread which came down from heaven. Not as your fathers ate manna and are dead, he who eats of this bread shall live forever.” 59He said these things in the synagogue as he taught in Capernaum. 60When many of HIS disciples heard this, they said, “This is a hard saying. Who can hear it?” 61When Y’SH knew in HIMSELF that HIS disciples murmured at it, HE said to them, “Does this offend you? 62What and if you shall see the SON of man go up where HE was before? 63It is the SPIRIT WHO makes alive. The flesh profits nothing. {Notice this specific statement. ‘The flesh profits nothing.’ It is the spirit who shall return to the FATHER. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of ALMIGHTY YHWH. We only now live in a mortal body. But we DO only live in it. It is NOT us.} The WORDs that I speak to you are spirit and life. 64But there are some of you who don’t believe.” Y’SH knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe and who should betray HIM. 65HE said, “I said to you that no man can come to ME except it were given to him of MY Father.” 66From that time, many of HIS disciples went back and did not walk any more with HIM. 67Y’SH said to the twelve, “Will you, also, go away?” 68Simon Peter answered, “MASTER, to whom shall we go? YOU have the WORDs of eternal life. 69We believe and are sure that YOU are the ANOINTED ONE (the SON of the living ALMIGHTY YHWH).” 70Y’SH answered, “Have I not chosen you twelve and one of you is a devil?” 71He spoke of Yiudas Yiscariot (the son of Simon). It was he (one of the twelve) who should betray HIM.

1After these things, Y’SH walked in Galilee. HE would not walk in Yiewry because the Yiews wanted to kill HIM. 2The Yiews’ feast of tabernacles was at hand. 3HIS brethren said to HIM, “Go into Yiudea that YOUR disciples may, also, see the works that YOU do. 4There is no man who does any thing in secret and he (himself) wants to be known openly. If YOU do these things, show YOURSELF to the world.” 5HIS brethren, also, did not believe in HIM. {However, HIS brother Yames came to believe in HIM after HIS death.} 6Y’SH said, “MY time is not yet come. But your time is always ready. 7The world cannot hate YOU. It hates ME because I testify of it that its works are evil. 8Go up to this feast. I will not go up yet to this feast. MY time is not yet full come.” 9When HE had said these WORDs to them, HE remained still in Galilee. 10But when HIS brethren were gone up, HE went also up to the feast (not openly but in secret). 11The Yiews looked for HIM at the feast. They said, “Where is HE?” 12There was much murmuring among the people concerning HIM. Some said, “HE is a good man.” Others said, “No, HE deceives the people.” 13Howbeit, no man spoke openly of HIM because they were afraid of the Yiews.
14About the midst of the feast, Y’SH went up into the temple and taught. 15The Yiews were surprised, saying, “How does this MAN know letters? HE never learned?” 16Y’SH answered, “MY doctrine is not MINE but HIS WHO sent ME. 17If any man will do HIS will, he shall know of the doctrine whether it is of ALMIGHTY YHWH or whether I speak of MYSELF. 18He who speaks of himself looks for HIS own glory. HE who looks for the glory of HIM WHO sent HIM is true and no unrighteousness is in HIM. 19Did Moses not give you the law. Yet, none of you keeps the law? Why do you go about to kill ME?” 20The people answered, “YOU have a devil. Who goes about to kill YOU?” 21Y’SH said, “I have done one work and you are surprised. 22Moses gave you circumcision (not because it is of Moses but of the fathers) and you circumcise a man on the Sabbath day. 23If a man is circumcised on the Sabbath day that the law of Moses should not be broken, are you angry at ME because I have made a man every bit whole on the Sabbath day? 24Don’t judge according to appearance but judge righteous judgment.” 25Some of them of Yierusalem said, “Is THIS not HIM WHOM they want to kill? 26But HE speaks boldly and they say nothing to HIM. Do the rulers know indeed that HE is the very ANOINTED ONE? 27Yet, we know where this MAN came from. When the ANOINTED ONE comes, no man knows where HE comes from.” 28Y’SH cried in the temple as HE taught, “You both know ME and where I am from. I am not come of MYSELF, but HE WHO sent ME is true. YOU don’t know HIM. 29I know HIM. I am from HIM and HE has sent ME.” 30They wanted to take HIM. No man laid hands on HIM because HIS hour was not yet come. 31Many of the people believed on HIM. They said, “When the ANOINTED ONE comes, will HE do more miracles than this MAN has done?” 32The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning HIM. They and the chief priests sent officers to take HIM. 33Y’SH said, “Yet a little while, I am with you. Then, I go to HIM WHO sent ME. 34You shall look for ME and shall not find ME. Where I am, you cannot come.” 35The Yiews said among themselves, “Where will HE go that we shall not find HIM? Will HE go to the dispersed among the Gentiles and teach the Gentiles? 36What kind of saying is this that HE said, ‘You shall look for ME and shall not find ME, and where I am, there you cannot come?’”
37In the last day, that great day of the feast, Y’SH stood and cried, saying, “If any man thirst, let him come to ME and drink. 38He who believes on ME, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” 39HE spoke of the SPIRIT WHOM those who believe on HIM should receive. The HOLY GHOST was not yet given. Y’SH was not yet glorified. 40Many of the people, when they heard this saying, said, “Of a truth HE is the PROPHET.” 41Others said, “This is the ANOINTED ONE.” But some said, “Shall the ANOINTED ONE come out of Galilee? 42Hasn’t the scripture said that the ANOINTED ONE comes of the descendants of David and out of the town of Bethlehem where David was?” 43So, there was a division among the people because of HIM. 44Some of them would have taken him but no man laid hands on HIM. 45The officers came to the chief priests and Pharisees. The Pharisees said to them, “Why have you not brought HIM?” 46The officers answered, “Never has a man spoken like this man has.” 47The Pharisees answered them, “Are you, also, deceived? 48Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on HIM? 49But this people who don’t know the law are cursed.” 50-51Nicodemus said to them, (he who came to Y’SH by night being one of them,) “Does our law judge any man before it hears him and we know what he does?” 52They answered him, “Are you, also, of Galilee? Search and look. No prophet arises out of Galilee.” 3Every man went to his own house.

1Y’SH went to the mount of Olives. 2Early in the morning, HE came again into the temple. All the people came to HIM. HE sat down and taught them. 3-4The writers and Pharisees brought to HIM a woman taken in adultery. When they had set her in the midst, they said to HIM, “MASTER, this woman was taken in adultery in the very act. 5Moses in the law commanded us that such should be stoned. What do YOU say?” 6They said this tempting HIM that they might have to accuse HIM. Y’SH stooped down. He wrote on the ground with HIS finger. 7When they continued to ask HIM, HE rose and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you first throw a rock at her.” 8HE stooped down again and wrote on the ground. 9Those who heard it were convicted by their own conscience and went out one by one beginning at the eldest even to the last. Y’SH and the woman were left alone. 10Y’SH stood up and saw no one but the woman. HE said to her, “Woman, where are your accusers? Has no man condemned you?” 11She said, “No man, MASTER.” Y’SH said to her, “Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.” {Even though HE did not condemn her, notice that he did say to go and sin no more. Notice, too, that even though these people brought the woman taken in adultery, they did not bring the man. Both shared equal guilt.}
12Y’SH spoke again to them, “I am the light of the world. He who follows ME shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life.” 13The Pharisees said to HIM, “YOU bear record of YOURSELF. YOUR record is not true.” 14Y’SH answered, “Though I bear record of MYSELF, yet MY record is true. I know from where I came and where I go. You cannot tell from where I came and where I go. 15You judge after the flesh. I judge no man. 16Yet if I judge, MY judgment is true. I am not alone, but I and the FATHER WHO sent me. 17It is also written in your law that the testimony of two men is true. 18I am ONE WHO bear witness of MYSELF. The FATHER WHO sent me bears witness of ME.” 19They said to HIM, “Where is YOUR FATHER?” Y’SH answered, “You neither know ME nor MY FATHER. If you had known ME, you should have known MY FATHER also.” 20Y’SH spoke these WORDs in the treasury as HE taught in the temple. No man laid hands on HIM for HIS hour was not yet come.
21Y’SH said again to them, “I go MY way. You shall look for ME and shall die in your sins. Where I go, you cannot come.” 22The Yiews said, “Will HE kill HIMSELF?” That is because HE said, “Where I go, you cannot come.” 23HE said to them, “You are from beneath. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world. 24If you don’t believe that I am HE, you shall die in your sins.” 25They said to HIM, “WHO are YOU?” Y’SH said to them, “Even WHO I said to you from the beginning. 26I have many things to say and to judge of you. HE WHO sent ME is true. I speak to the world those things which I have heard of HIM.” 27They did not understand that HE spoke to them of the FATHER. 28Y’SH said to them, “When you have lifted up the SON of man, you shall know that I am HE and that I do nothing of MYSELF, but I speak these things as MY FATHER has taught ME. 29HE WHO sent ME is with ME. The FATHER has not left ME alone. I always do those things that please HIM.” 30As HE spoke these WORDs, many believed on HIM.
31Then, Y’SH said to those Yiews who believed on HIM, “If you continue in MY WORD, you are MY disciples indeed. {Notice that the SON (HIMSELF) placed a big “if” on whether or not you are HIS disciples, that is “if you continue in HIS WORD.”} 32You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.” 33They answered HIM, “We are the descendants of Yiabrahim and were never in bondage to any man. How do you say, ‘You shall be made free?’” 34Y’SH answered them, “Whoever commits sin is the servant of sin. 35The servant does not stay in the house forever. The SON stays forever. 36If the SON makes you free, you are free indeed. 37I know that you are the descendants of Yiabrahim, but you want to kill me because MY WORD has no place in you.
38I speak that which I have seen with MY FATHER. You do that which you have seen with your FATHER.” 39They answered, “Yiabrahim is our FATHER.” Y’SH said to them, “If you were Yiabrahim’s children, you would do the works of Yiabrahim. 40But now, you want to kill ME, a MAN WHO has told you the truth which I have heard of ALMIGHTY YHWH. Yiabrahim did not do this. 41You do the deeds of your FATHER.” Then they said to HIM, “We are not born of fornication. We have one FATHER, even ALMIGHTY YHWH.” 42Y’SH said, “If ALMIGHTY YHWH were your FATHER, you would love ME. I proceeded and came from ALMIGHTY YHWH. Neither did I come of MYSELF, but HE sent ME. 43Why do you not understand MY speech? It is because you cannot hear MY WORD. 44You are of your FATHER (the devil) and you will do the lusts of your FATHER. He was a murderer from the beginning and did not abide in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own. He is a liar and the FATHER of it. 45Because I tell you the truth, you do not believe ME.
46Which of you convinces ME of sin? If I say the truth, why do you not believe ME? 47He who is of ALMIGHTY YHWH hears the WORDs of ALMIGHTY YHWH. You do not hear them because you are not of ALMIGHTY YHWH.” 48The Yiews answered, “Do we not well say that you are a Samaritan and have a devil?” 49Y’SH answered, “I do not have a devil. I honor MY FATHER. You dishonor ME. 50I do not look for MY own glory. There is one WHO looks for and judges. 51If a man keeps MY saying, he shall never see death.” 52The Yiews said to him, “Now we know that YOU have a devil. Yiabrahim is dead and the prophets. YOU say that if a man keeps MY saying, he shall never taste of death. 53Are YOU greater than our FATHER Yiabrahim who is dead. The prophets are dead. Whom do YOU make YOURSELF?” 54Y’SH answered, “If I honor MYSELF, MY honor is nothing. It is MY FATHER WHO honors ME. You say of HIM that HE is your ALMIGHTY YHWH. 55Yet you have not known HIM, but I know HIM. If I should say that I don’t know HIM, I shall be a liar like you. I know HIM and keep HIS saying. 56Your father (Yiabrahim) rejoiced to see MY day and saw it and was glad.” 57The Yiews said to HIM, “YOU are not yet fifty years old and have you seen Yiabrahim?” 58Y’SH said to them, “Before Yiabrahim was, I am.” 59They took up rocks to throw at HIM. Y’SH hid HIMSELF, went out of the temple through the midst of them and so passed by.
Notations, Yohn 9
1Y’SH saw a man blind from birth. 2HIS disciples asked HIM, “MASTER, who sinned that he was born blind, this man or his parents?” 3Y’SH answered, “Neither this man nor his parents, but that the works of ALMIGHTY YHWH should be made manifest in him. 4I must work the works of HIM WHO sent ME while it is day. The night comes when no man can work. 5As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” 6When HE had said this, HE spit on the ground and made clay of the spittle. HE anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, 7HE said, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam,” (translated, “Sent”). He went, washed and came seeing. 8The neighbors and those who had seen him blind, said, “Is this not he who sat and begged?” 9Some said, “This is he.” Others said, “He is like him.” He said, “I am he.” 10They asked, “How were your eyes opened?” 11He answered, “A MAN called Y’SH made clay, anointed my eyes and said, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ I went, washed and received my sight.” 12They said, “Where is HE?” He said, “I don’t know.” 13They brought him who had been blind to the Pharisees. 14It was the Sabbath day when Y’SH made the clay and opened his eyes. 15The Pharisees, also, asked him again how he had received his sight. He said, “HE put clay on my eyes, I washed and see.” 16Some of the Pharisees said, “This MAN is not of ALMIGHTY YHWH because HE does not keep the Sabbath day.” Others said, “How can a sinner do such miracles?” There was a division among them. 17They said to the blind man again, “What do you say of HIM, that HE has opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet.” 18But, the Yiews did not believe concerning him that he had been blind and received his sight. They called the parents of him who had received his sight. 19They asked them, “Is this your son who you say was born blind? How then does he see now?” 20His parents answered them, “We know that this is our son and that he was born blind. 21By what means he now sees, we don’t know. We don’t know WHO has opened his eyes. He is of age. Ask him. He shall speak for himself.” 22His parents spoke these words because they were afraid of the Yiews. The Yiews had agreed already that if any man confessed that Y’SH was the ANOINTED ONE, he should be put out of the synagogue. 23Therefore, his parents said, “He is of age. Ask him.” 24They again called the man who was blind. They said to him, “Give ALMIGHTY YHWH the praise. We know that this MAN is a SINNER.” 25He answered, “Whether HE is a SINNER or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know is that whereas I was blind, now I see.” 26They said to him again, “What did HE do to you? How did HE open your eyes?” 27He answered, “I told you already and you did not hear. Why would you hear it again? Will you, also, be HIS disciples?” 28Then they reviled him, “You are HIS disciple. We are Moses’ disciples. 29We know that ALMIGHTY YHWH spoke to Moses. As for this FELLOW, we don’t know from where HE is.” 30The man answered them, “Why, this is a surprising thing that you don’t know from where HE is. Yet, HE has opened my eyes. 31We know that ALMIGHTY YHWH does not hear sinners. HE hears any man who is a worshipper of HIM and does HIS will. 32Since the world began, it was not heard that any man opened the eyes of one who was born blind. 33If this man were not of ALMIGHTY YHWH, HE could do nothing.” 34They answered, “You were altogether born in sins. Do you teach us?” They threw him out. 35Y’SH heard that they had thrown him out. When HE had found him, HE said to him, “Do you believe on the SON of ALMIGHTY YHWH?” 36He answered, “Who is HE, MASTER, that I might believe on HIM?” 37Y’SH said to him, “You have both seen him and HE is HE WHO talks with you now.” 38He said, “MASTER, I believe.” He worshipped HIM. 39Y’SH said, “For judgment I am come into this world that those who don’t see might see and that those who see might be made blind.” 40Some of the Pharisees with HIM heard these WORDs. They said to him, “Are we blind also?” 41Y’SH said to them, “If you were blind, you should have no sin. But now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore, your sin remains.”
Notations, Yohn 10
1“He who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs up some other way is a thief and a robber. 2He who enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3The porter opens to him. The sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4When he pastures his own sheep, he goes before them. The sheep follow him. They know his voice. 5They will not follow a stranger. They will flee from a stranger. They don’t know the voice of strangers.” 6Y’SH spoke this parable to them. They did not understand the WORDs HE spoke. 7Y’SH said again, “I am the DOOR of the sheep. 8All whoever came before ME are thieves and robbers. The sheep did not hear them. 9I am the DOOR. If any man enter in by ME, he shall be saved and shall go in and out and find pasture. 10The thief does not come but to steal, kill and destroy. I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly. 11I am the good SHEPHERD. The good shepherd gives HIS life for the sheep. 12A hireling and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming, leaves the sheep and runs. The wolf catches and scatters the sheep. 13The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care for the sheep. 14I am the good SHEPHERD. I know MY sheep and am known of MINE. 15As the FATHER knows ME, even so I know the FATHER. I lay down MY life for the sheep. 16I have other sheep not of this fold. I must bring them, also. They shall hear MY voice. There shall be one fold and one SHEPHERD. 17MY FATHER loves ME because I lay down MY life that I might take it again. 18No man takes it from ME. I lay it down of MYSELF. I have power to lay it down. I have power to take it again. I have received this commandment of MY FATHER.”
19There was a division again among the Yiews for these sayings. 20Many of them said, “HE has a devil. HE is mad. Why do you listen to HIM?” 21Others said, “These are not the words of him who has a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?”
22-23Y’SH walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch at Yierusalem in the winter at the feast of the dedication. 24The Yiews came round about HIM. They said, “How long will YOU make us doubt? If YOU are the ANOINTED ONE, tell us plainly.” 25Y’SH answered, “I told you and you did not believe. The works that I do in MY FATHER’s name bear witness of ME. 26But you do not believe because you are not of MY sheep as I said to you. 27MY sheep hear MY voice. I know them. They follow ME. 28I give to them eternal life. They shall never perish. Neither shall any man pluck them out of MY hand. 29MY FATHER WHO gave them to ME is greater than all. No man is able to pluck them out of MY FATHER’s hand. 30I and MY FATHER are ONE.” {“I and MY FATHER are ONE.” That is a plain statement. This is how HE and the FATHER can be two and yet one. Each of us is the same as and yet separate from our words. So are the FATHER and the SON. The FATHER is a SPIRIT, and the SON is the incarnate WORDS of that SPIRIT as well as a SPIRIT (HIMSELF). Therefore, THEY are ONE and yet TWO.} 31The Yiews took up stones again to stone HIM. 32Y’SH said, “I showed you many good works from MY FATHER. For which of those works do you stone ME?” 33The Yiews answered, “We don’t stone you for a good work but for blasphemy. YOU are a man and make YOURSELF ALMIGHTY YHWH.” 34Y’SH answered, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, YOU are mighties?’ 35-36If HE called them mighties to whom the WORD of ALMIGHTY YHWH came and the scripture cannot be broken, do you say of HIM WHOM the FATHER has sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You blaspheme, because I said that I am the SON of ALMIGHTY YHWH?’ 37If I do not do the works of MY FATHER, don’t believe ME. 38But if I do, though you don’t believe ME, believe the works that you may know and believe that the FATHER is in ME and I in HIM.’” 39They tried again to take HIM, but HE escaped out of their hand. 40HE went away again beyond Yiordan to the place where Yohn at first baptized. HE stayed there. 41Many came to HIM. They said, “Yohn did no miracles. All things that Yohn spoke of this MAN are true.” 42Many believed on HIM there.
Notations, Yohn 11
1Lazarus was of Bethany, the town of Lazarus’s sisters (Mary and Martha). 2Mary was the one who anointed Y’SH with ointment and wiped HIS feet with her hair. 3Lazarus’s sisters sent to Y’SH. They said, “MASTER, he whom YOU love is sick.” 4When Y’SH heard that, HE said, “This sickness is not to death but for the glory of ALMIGHTY YHWH that the SON of ALMIGHTY YHWH might be glorified by it.” 5Y’SH loved Martha and Mary and Lazarus. 6When HE heard that he was sick, HE still stayed two days in the same place where HE was. 7Then, HE said to HIS disciples, “Let us go to Yiudea again.” 8HIS disciples said to HIM, “MASTER, the Yiews of late tried to stone YOU. Do you go there again?” 9Y’SH answered, “Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he does not stumble because he sees the light of this world. 10But if a man walk in the night, he stumbles because there is no light in him. 11Our friend Lazarus sleeps. I go that I may awake him out of sleep.” 12HIS disciples said, “MASTER, if he sleeps he shall do well.” 13Howbeit, Y’SH spoke of his death but they thought that HE had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. 14Then, Y’SH said plainly, “Lazarus is dead. 15I am glad for your sakes that I was not there to the intent you may believe. Nevertheless, let us go to him.” 16Thomas (Didymus) said to his fellow disciples, “Let us also go that we may die with HIM.”
17Y’SH found that Lazarus had lain in the grave four days already. 18Bethany was about one and three quarter miles from Yierusalem. 19Many of the Yiews came to Martha and Mary to comfort them concerning their brother. 20Martha went and met Y’SH as soon as she heard that HE was coming. Mary sat still in the house. 21Martha said to Y’SH, “MASTER, if you had been here, my brother had not died. 22But I know that even now whatever YOU ask of ALMIGHTY YHWH, HE will give it to YOU.” 23Y’SH said to her, “Your brother shall rise again.” 24Martha said to HIM, “I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” 25Y’SH said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in ME, though he were dead, yet he shall live. 26Whoever lives and believes in ME shall never die. Do you believe this?” 27She said, “Yes, MASTER. I believe that YOU are the ANOINTED ONE (the SON of ALMIGHTY YHWH) WHO should come into the world.” 28When she had said this, she went her way and called Mary secretly. She said, “The MASTER is come and calls for you.” 29As soon as she heard that, she came to HIM quickly. 30Y’SH was not yet in town but was in that place where Martha met him. 31The Yiews were with her in the house and comforted her. They saw that Mary went out hastily. They followed her. They said, “She goes to the grave to weep there.” 32When Mary was come where Y’SH was and saw HIM, she fell down at HIS feet. She said to HIM, “MASTER, if YOU had been here, my brother would not have died.”
33When Y’SH saw her and the Yiews who came with her weeping, HE groaned in the spirit and was troubled. 34HE said, “Where have you laid him?” They said “MASTER, come and see.” 35Y’SH wept. 36The Yiews said, “See how HE loved him!” 37Some of them said, “Could not this MAN WHO opened the eyes of the blind have caused that even this man should not have died?” 38Y’SH came to the grave and again groaned in HIMSELF. It was a cave. A stone lay on it. 39Y’SH said, “Move the rock.” Martha said, “MASTER, by this time he stinks for he has been dead four days.” 40Y’SH said to her, “Didn’t I say to you that if you would believe, you should see the glory of ALMIGHTY YHWH?” 41They took away the rock from the grave. Y’SH looked up. HE said, “FATHER, I thank YOU that YOU have heard ME. 42I know that YOU always hear ME. Because of the people who stand by I said it that they may believe that YOU have sent ME.” 43When HE had said this, HE cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out.” 44He who was dead came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes. His face was bound about with a napkin. Y’SH said to them, “Loose him and let him go.” 45Many of the Yiews who came to Mary and saw the things which Y’SH did believed on HIM. 46But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees and told them what things Y’SH had done. 47The chief priests and the Pharisees gathered a council. They said, “What do we do? This MAN does many miracles. 48If we let HIM thus alone, all men will believe on HIM. The Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.” 49One of them (Caiaphas – the high priest that same year) said to them, “You know nothing at all. 50You don’t consider that it is expedient for us that one man should die for the people and that the whole nation do not perish.” 51-52He spoke this not of himself. He was high priest that year and prophesied that Y’SH should die for that nation and not for that nation only, but that, also, HE should gather together in one the children of ALMIGHTY YHWH who were scattered abroad. 53From that day on, they took counsel together to put HIM to death. 54Y’SH, therefore, walked no more openly among the Yiews. HE went to a country near the wilderness into a city called Ephraim. HE continued there with HIS disciples. 55The Yiews’ Passover was near at hand. Many went out of the country up to Yierusalem before the Passover to purify themselves. 56They looked for Y’SH and spoke among themselves, “Do you think HE will not come to the feast?” 57Both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a commandment that if any man knew where HE was, he should show it, that they might take HIM.
Notations, Yohn 12
1Six days before the Passover, Y’SH came to Bethany where Lazarus was who had been dead and whom Y’SH raised from the dead. 2They made Y’SH a supper there. Martha served. Lazarus was one of those who sat at the table with HIM. 3Mary took a pound of very costly spikenard ointment, anointed the feet of Y’SH and wiped HIS feet with her hair. The house was filled with the odor of the ointment. 4Yiudas Yiscariot (Simon’s son) was one of HIS disciples and was to betray HIM. 5Yiudas Yiscariot said, “Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred pence and given to the poor?” 6He said this, not that he cared for the poor but because he was a thief, had the bag and bore what was put in it. 7Y’SH said, “Let her alone. She has kept this against the day of MY burying. 8You always have the poor with you. You don’t always have ME with you.” {HE spoke of HIS physical body when HE said, “You don’t always have ME with you.” If we have in our hearts the WORD of ALMIGHTY YHWH, then the ANOINTED ONE as promised is always with us in SPIRIT even to the end of the world. That is why we are, in deed, the temple of ALMIGHTY YHWH, the temple of the ANOINTED ONE and the temple of the HOLY GHOST. Therefore, we must not corrupt THEIR temple (our bodies). As to the statement that, “You always have the poor with you,” many would say that if you are a child of ALMIGHTY YHWH, you cannot be poor. Obviously, they think that they know more than the SON of ALMIGHTY YHWH. This incident was also recorded in Matthew 26:7-13. Matthew records all the disciples as having been indignant. It was further recorded in Mark 14:3-9 which is similar to Matthew. These two further state that wherever the good news is taught, this shall be told as a memorial of her. Luke 7:37-48 records it considerably differently from the other three versions. A Pharisee was the detractor, and nothing was said about it having been done against HIS burial. Mark and Luke are not apostles.} 9Many of the Yiews knew that HE was there. They came not only for the sake of Y’SH but that they might see Lazarus, also, whom Y’SH had raised from the dead. 10The chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus, also, to death. 11They knew that many of the Yiews went away and believed on Y’SH because of Lazarus.
12-13Many people came to the feast. They heard that Y’SH was coming to Yierusalem. The next morning they took branches of palm trees and went to meet HIM. They cried, “Hosanna! The KING of YisraEL WHO comes in the name of ALMIGHTY YHWH is blessed.” 14-15Y’SH found a young ass and sat on it. It is written, “Don’t be afraid, daughter of Sion. Your KING comes sitting on an ass’s colt.” {This incident was recorded in Matthew 21:1-11 and in Mark 11:1-10 and in Luke 19:29-40. The accounts in Mathew, Mark and Luke are much more extensive than the account in Yohn.}16HIS disciples did not understand these things at first. When Y’SH was glorified, they remembered that these things were written of HIM and that they had done these things to HIM. 17The people WHO were with HIM when HE called Lazarus out of his grave and raised him from the dead confirm this. 18The people also met HIM for this reason. They heard that HE had done this miracle. 19The Pharisees, therefore, said among themselves, “Do you perceive how you prevail nothing? The world is gone after HIM.”
20There were certain Greeks among them who came up to worship at the feast. 21They came to Philip who was of Bethsaida of Galilee. They asked him, “Sir, we would see Y’SH.” 22Philip told Andrew. Andrew and Philip told Y’SH. 23Y’SH answered, “The hour is come that the SON of man should be glorified. 24Except a corn of wheat fall to the ground and dies, it abides alone. If it dies, it produces much fruit. 25He who loves his life shall lose it. He who hates his life in this world shall keep it to life eternal. 26If any man serves ME, let him follow ME. Where I am, there MY servant shall be also. If any man serve ME, MY FATHER will honor him.
27MY soul is troubled. What shall I say – FATHER, save ME from this hour? I came to this hour for this cause. 28“FATHER, glorify YOUR name.” A voice came from heaven, “I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.” 29The people who stood by heard it. They said it thundered. Others said, “An angEL spoke to HIM.” 30Y’SH answered, “This voice did not come because of ME but for your sakes. 31The judgment of this world is come. The prince of this world shall be thrown out. 32If I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all to ME.” 33HE said this signifying what death HE should die. 34The people answered, “We have heard out of the law that the ANOINTED ONE abides forever. How do you say, ‘The SON of man must be lifted up.’ Who is this SON of man?” 35Y’SH said to them, “Yet a little while is the LIGHT with you. Walk while you have the LIGHT lest darkness come on you. He who walks in darkness does not know where he goes. 36While you have the LIGHT, believe in the LIGHT that you may be the children of LIGHT.” Y’SH spoke these things, left and hid himself from them.
37But though HE had done so many miracles before them, yet they did not believe on HIM. 38The saying of YsaYH (the prophet) was fulfilled, “ALMIGHTY YHWH, who has believed our report? To whom has the arm of ALMIGHTY YHWH been revealed?” 39-40They could not believe because YsaYH said again, “HE has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart that they should not see with their eyes nor understand with their heart and be converted and I should heal them.” 41YsaYH said these things when he saw HIS glory and spoke of HIM. 42Nevertheless, among the chief rulers, many believed on him, also, but they did not confess him because of the Pharisees lest they should be put out of the synagogue. 43They loved the praise of men more than the praise of ALMIGHTY YHWH. 44Y’SH cried, “He who believes on ME believes not on ME but on HIM WHO sent ME. 45He who sees ME sees HIM WHO sent ME. 46I am come a light into the world that whoever believes on ME should not abide in darkness. 47If any man hears MY WORDs and does not believe, I do not judge him. I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48He who rejects ME and does not receive MY WORDs has ONE WHO judges him. The WORD that I have spoken shall judge him in the last day. 49I have not spoken of MYSELF. The FATHER WHO sent ME gave ME a commandment what I should say and what I should speak. 50I know that HIS commandment is life everlasting. Whatever I speak, I speak even so as the FATHER said to ME.”
Notations, Yohn 13
1Before the feast of the Passover, Y’SH knew that HIS hour was come that HE should leave this world to go to the FATHER. HE loved HIS own who were in the world to the end. 2When supper was ended, the devil put in the heart of Yiudas Yiscariot to betray HIM. 3Y’SH knew that the FATHER had given all things into HIS hands and that HE was come from ALMIGHTY YHWH and went to ALMIGHTY YHWH. 4HE rose from supper, laid aside HIS clothes, took a towel and put it around HIM. 5HE poured water into a basin, began to wash the disciples’ feet and wiped them with the towel that HE was girded with. 6HE came to Simon Peter. Peter said, “MASTER, do you wash my feet?” 7Y’SH answered, “What I do, you do not know now. But you shall know hereafter.” 8Peter said, “YOU shall never wash MY feet.” Y’SH answered, “If I don’t wash you, you have no part with ME.” 9Simon Peter said, “MASTER, not my feet only but, also, my hands and my head.” 10Y’SH said to him, “HE who is washed need not to wash except HIS feet but is clean every bit. You are clean but not all.” 11HE knew who should betray HIM. Therefore, HE said, “You are not all clean.” 12So after HE had washed their feet, taken HIS clothes and was set down again, HE said, “Do you know what I have done to you? 13You call ME ‘MASTER.’ You say well. For so I am. 14If I then, your MASTER, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. 15I have given you an example that you should do as I have done to you. 16The servant is not greater than his master. Neither is HE WHO is sent greater than HE who sent HIM. 17If you know these things, you are happy if you do them.
18I do not speak of you all. I know whom I have chosen that the scripture may be fulfilled, ‘He who eats bread with ME has lifted up his heel against ME.’ 19I tell you before it come, that when it is come to pass, you may believe that I am HE. 20He who receives whomever I send receives ME. He who receives ME receives HIM WHO sent ME.” 21When Y’SH had thus said, HE was troubled in spirit and testified. HE said, “One of you shall betray ME.” 22The disciples looked one on another doubting of whom HE spoke. 23There was leaning on the bosom of Y’SH one of HIS disciples whom HE loved. 24Simon Peter beckoned to that disciple that he should ask who it should be of whom HE spoke. 25He, then lying on Y’SH’s breast, said to HIM, “MASTER, who is it?” 26Y’SH answered, “It is he to whom I shall give a sop when I have dipped it.” When HE dipped the sop, HE gave it to Yiudas Yiscariot, the son of Simon. 27After the sop, Satan entered into him. Y’SH said to him, “That you do, do quickly.” 28No man at the table knew for what intent HE spoke this to him. 29Some of them thought because Yiudas had the bag that Y’SH had said to him, “Buy those things that we have need of against the feast” or that he should give something to the poor. 30Yiudas Yiscariot, then, having received the sop, went immediately out into the night.
31When he was gone out, Y’SH said, “Now the SON of man is glorified and ALMIGHTY YHWH is glorified in HIM. 32If ALMIGHTY YHWH is glorified in HIM, ALMIGHTY YHWH shall also glorify HIM in HIMSELF and shall straightway glorify HIM. 33-34Little children, I am with you yet a little while. You shall look for ME. As I said to the Yiews, where I go, you cannot come. I give a new commandment to you – that you love one another. As I have loved you, you also love one another. 35By this all men shall know that you are MY disciples, if you have love one to another.” 36Simon Peter said to HIM, “MASTER, where do you go?” Y’SH answered him, “Where I go, you cannot follow ME now. You shall follow ME afterwards.” 37Peter said, “MASTER, why can not I follow YOU now? I will lay down my life for YOUR sake.” 38Y’SH answered him, “Will you lay down your life for MY sake? The cock shall not crow till you have denied ME three times.”
Notations, Yohn 14
1“Let your heart not be troubled. You believe in ALMIGHTY YHWH. Believe also in ME. 2In MY FATHER’s house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to MYSELF that where I am, there you may be also.
4You know where I go and you know the way.” 5Thomas said to HIM, “MASTER, we don’t know where you go and how can we know the way?” 6Y’SH said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the FATHER but by ME. 7If you had known ME, you should have known MY FATHER also. After this, you know HIM and have seen HIM.” 8Philip said, “MASTER, show us the FATHER and it will suffice us.” 9Y’SH said, “Have I been with you so long and yet you have not known ME, Philip? HE who has seen ME has seen the FATHER. Why do you say then, ‘Show us the FATHER?’” 10Do you not believe that I am in the FATHER and the FATHER in ME? The WORDS that I speak to you, I don’t speak of MYSELF. The FATHER WHO lives in ME does the works. 11Believe ME that I am in the FATHER and the FATHER in ME or else believe ME for the very works’ sake.
12He who believes on ME shall also do the works that I do. He shall do greater works than these because I go to MY FATHER. 13I will do whatever you shall ask in MY name that the FATHER may be glorified in the SON. 14If you shall ask any thing in MY name, I will do it.
15If you love ME, keep MY commandments. 16-17I will pray the FATHER. HE shall give you another Comforter (the SPIRIT of TRUTH) that HE may abide with you forever. The world cannot receive HIM because it does not see HIM. Neither does it know HIM. You know HIM for HE lives with you and shall be in you.
18I will not leave you comfortless. I will come to you. 19Yet a little while and the world sees ME no more. But you see ME. You shall live also because I live. 20At that day, you shall know that I am in MY FATHER and you in ME and I in you. 21He who has MY commandments and keeps them is he who loves ME. HE who loves ME shall be loved of MY FATHER. I will love him and will manifest MYSELF to him.” 22Yiudas (not Yiscariot) said to HIM, “MASTER, how is it that YOU will manifest YOURSELF to us and not to the world?” 23Y’SH answered, “If a man love ME, he will keep MY WORDs. MY FATHER will love him. WE will come to him and make OUR abode with him. {See how love is defined, that is, to keep HIS commandments. Failure to keep HIS commandments is failure to love HIM.} 24He who does not love ME does not keep MY sayings. The WORD which you hear is not MINE but the FATHER’s WHO sent ME.
25I have spoken these things to you, being yet present with YOU. 26But the COMFORTER (the HOLY GHOST) WHOM the FATHER will send in MY name shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance whatever I have said to you. 27I leave peace with you. I give MY peace to you. I give it to you not as the world gives. Let your heart not be troubled. Neither let it be afraid.
28You have heard how I said to you that I go away and come again to you. If you loved ME, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I go to the FATHER.’ MY FATHER is greater than I am. 29I have told you now before it come to pass that when it is come to pass, you might believe. 30I will not talk much after this with you. The prince of this world comes and has nothing in ME. 31I do even as the FATHER gave ME commandment that the world may know that I love the FATHER. Stand up. Let us go from here.
Notations, Yohn 15
1I am the true vine. MY FATHER is the husbandman. 2HE takes away every branch in ME who does not bear fruit. {These verses belie the belief in once saved always saved. The branches are in ‘ME’, yet HE takes it away when it does not bear fruit.} He purges every branch who bears fruit that it may produce more fruit. 3Now, you are clean through the WORD which I have spoken to you. 4Abide in ME and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself except it abide in the vine, no more can you except you abide in ME. 5I am the vine. You are the branches. {I am the vine. You are the branches. If you do not bear fruit, the FATHER takes you away. Fruit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, gentleness and such like.} He who abides in ME and I in him produces much fruit. Without ME, you can do nothing. 6If a man does not abide in ME, he is thrown out as a branch and is withered. Men throw them into the fire. They are burned. 7If you abide in ME and MY WORDs abide in you, you shall ask what you will and it shall be done to you. 8Herein is MY FATHER glorified that you bear much fruit. So, you shall be MY disciples.
9As the FATHER has loved ME, so I have loved you. Continue in MY love. 10If you keep MY commandments, you shall abide in MY love, even as I have kept MY FATHER’s commandments and abide in HIS love. {It is clearly necessary to keep HIS commandments to continue to abide in HIS love.} 11I have spoken these things to you, that MY joy might remain in you and that your joy might be full. 12This is MY commandment that you love one another as I have loved you. 13Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14You are MY friends if you do whatever I command you. {Look at the what and the if.} 15After this, I don’t call you servants. The servant does not know what HIS MASTER does. I have called you friends. I have made known to you all things that I have heard of MY FATHER. 16You have not chosen ME, but I have chosen you that you should go and produce fruit, that your fruit should remain that whatever you shall ask of the FATHER in MY name HE may give it to you. 17I command you these things that you love one another.
18If the world hates you, you know that it hated me before it hated you. 19If you were of the world, the world would love his own. The world hates you because you are not of the world but I have chosen you out of the world. Therefore, the world hates you. 20Remember the WORD that I said to you that the servant is not greater than his MASTER. If they have persecuted ME, they will also persecute you. If they have kept MY saying, they will keep yours also. 21They will do to you all these things for MY name’s sake, because they do not know HIM WHO sent ME. 22If I had not come and spoken to them, they had not had sin, but now they have no cloak for their sin. 23He who hates ME hates MY FATHER, too. 24If I had not done among them the works which no other man did, they had not had sin. Now, they have both seen and hated both ME and MY FATHER. 25This fulfills the WORD that is written in their law, ‘They hated ME without a cause.’
26The COMFORTER WHOM I will send to you from the FATHER is the SPIRIT of TRUTH WHO proceeds from the FATHER. When HE is come, HE shall testify of ME. 27You, also, shall bear witness because you have been with ME from the beginning.
Notations, Yohn 16
1I spoke these things to you that you should not be offended. 2They shall put you out of the synagogues. The time comes that whoever kills you will think that he does service to ALMIGHTY YHWH. 3They will do these things to you because they have not known the FATHER nor ME. 4I have told you these things that when the time shall come, you may remember that I told them to you. I did not say these things to you at the beginning because I was with you. 5I go MY way to HIM WHO sent ME. None of you asks, ‘Where do YOU go?’ 6Sorrow has filled your heart because I have said these things to you.
7Nevertheless, I tell you the truth. It is expedient for you that I go away. If I do not go away, the COMFORTER will not come to you. If I go away, I will send HIM to you. 8-12When HE is come, HE will reprove the world of sin, righteousness and judgment – of sin because they do not believe on ME – of righteousness because I go to MY FATHER and you shall see ME no more – of judgment because the prince of this world is judged. 12I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13But when HE (the SPIRIT of truth) is come, HE will guide you into all truth. HE shall not speak of HIMSELF. HE shall speak whatever HE hears. HE will show you things to come. 14HE shall glorify ME. HE shall receive of MINE and show it to you. 15All things the FATHER has are MINE. Therefore, I said that HE shall take of MINE and show it to you.
16After a little while, you shall not see ME. Again, after a little while, you shall see ME because I go to the FATHER.” 17Some of HIS disciples said among themselves, “What is this that HE says to us, ‘A little while and you shall not see ME,’ and, again, ‘a little while and you shall see ME,’ and, ‘Because I go to the FATHER?’ 18What is this that HE says, ‘A little while?’ We cannot tell what HE says.” 19Y’SH knew that they wanted to ask HIM. HE said, “Do you inquire among yourselves of that I said, a little while and you shall not see ME and again, a little while and you shall see ME? 20You shall cry and lament but the world shall rejoice. You shall be sorrowful but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. 21A woman, when she is in travail, has sorrow because her hour is come. As soon as she is delivered of the child, she does not remember the anguish for joy that a man is born into the world. 22You have sorrow but I will see you again. Your heart shall rejoice. No man takes your joy from you.
23You shall ask ME nothing in that day. The FATHER will give you whatever you ask in MY name. 24You have asked nothing till now in MY name. Ask and you shall receive that your joy may be full. 25I have spoken these things to you in proverbs. The time comes when I shall speak no more to you in proverbs. I shall show you plainly of the FATHER. 26You shall ask in MY name at that day. I do not say to you that I will pray the FATHER for you. 27The FATHER (HIMSELF) loves you because you have loved ME and have believed that I came out from ALMIGHTY YHWH.
28I came from the FATHER and am come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the FATHER.” 29HIS disciples said, “Now, YOU speak plainly, not in proverbs. 30We are sure that YOU know all things and do not need that any man should ask YOU. By this we believe that YOU came from ALMIGHTY YHWH.” 31Y’SH answered them, “Do you believe? 32The hour comes, yes, is now come that you shall be scattered every man to his own and shall leave ME alone. Yet, I am not alone. The FATHER is with ME. 33I have spoken these things to you that in ME you might have peace. In the world, you shall have tribulation. Be of good cheer. I have overcome the world.”
Notations, Yohn 17
1Y’SH spoke these WORDs and looked up to heaven. HE said, “FATHER, the hour is come. Glorify YOUR SON that YOUR SON, also, may glorify YOU. 2YOU have given HIM power over all flesh that HE should give eternal life to as many as YOU have given HIM. 3This is life eternal, that they might know YOU the only true ALMIGHTY YHWH and Y’SH (the ANOINTED ONE) WHOM YOU have sent. 4I have glorified YOU on the earth. I have finished the work which YOU gave ME to do. 5Now, FATHER, glorify ME with YOUR own SELF with the glory I had with YOU before the world was.
6I have manifested YOUR name to the men whom YOU gave ME out of the world. They were YOURS. You gave them to ME. They have kept YOUR WORD. 7They have known that all things whatever YOU have given ME are of YOU. 8I have given them the WORDs which YOU gave ME. They have received them. They have known for sure that I came from YOU. They have believed that YOU sent ME. 9I pray for them. I do not pray for the world, but for those whom YOU have given ME. They are YOURS. 10All MINE are YOURS. YOURS are mine. I am glorified in them.
11I am no more in the world. These are in the world. I come to YOU, HOLY FATHER. Keep those you have given me through YOUR own name that they may be one as WE are ONE. 12I kept them in YOUR name while I was with them in the world. I have kept those who YOU gave ME. None of them is lost but the son of perdition that the scripture might be fulfilled. 13I come to YOU now. I speak these things in the world that they might have MY joy fulfilled in themselves. 14I have given them YOUR WORD. The world has hated them because they are not of the world even as I am not of the world. 15I do not pray that YOU should take them out of the world but that YOU should keep them from the evil. 16They are not of the world even as I am not of the world.
17Sanctify them through YOUR truth. YOUR WORD is truth. 18As YOU have sent ME into the world, even so I have also sent them into the world. 19I sanctify MYSELF for their sakes that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
20-21I do not pray for these alone, but for those also who shall believe on ME through their WORD. I pray that they all may be one as YOU, FATHER, are in ME, and I in YOU, that they also may be one in US, that the world may believe that YOU have sent ME. {This statement and other like ones above pertain to oneness. Some would have you believe that there is only one and that is the FATHER. Some would have you believe that there is only one and that is the SON. Given this rationale, and taking the preceding statement, then there are no individual disciples but only ONE and that is the FATHER or the SON. This rationale is clearly not true. There are individual disciples. We see and know that. Also, there is the FATHER and there is the SON. There is, also, the HOLY GHOST. The FATHER, the SON and the HOLY GHOST are truly only one and, yet, they are three. The FATHER is supreme over all. and HE exists everywhere. HE fills up the heaven and the earth. This being true, the HOLY GHOST, the SON and the disciples all exist in HIM. We are the temple of the FATHER, the SON and the HOLY GHOST. We are also the body of the SON in that HE is the WORD of the HIGHEST. They exist in us and out of us. So we are one and yet many. The FATHER and the SON are ONE and yet TWO. The FATHER, SON and HOLY GHOST are ONE and yet THREE. } 22-23I have given them the glory which YOU gave ME that they may be one even as WE are ONE, I in them and YOU in ME, that they may be made perfect in one and that the world may know that YOU have sent ME and have loved them as YOU have loved ME. 24FATHER, I will that they, also, whom YOU have given ME be with ME where I am that they may see MY glory which YOU have given ME. YOU loved ME before the foundation of the world. 25Righteous FATHER, the world has not known YOU. I have known YOU. These have known that YOU have sent ME. 26I have declared to them YOUR name. I will declare it that the love that YOU have loved ME with may be in them and I in them.”
Notations, Yohn 18
1Y’SH with HIS disciples went over the brook Cedron. HE and HIS disciples entered into a garden there. 2Yiudas (who betrayed HIM) knew the place. Y’SH often resorted there with HIS disciples. 3Yiudas received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees. They came there with lanterns, torches and weapons. 4Y’SH knew all things that should come on HIM. HE said, “WHO are you looking for?” 5They answered HIM, “Y’SH of Nazareth.” Y’SH said to them, “I am HE.” Yiudas (who betrayed HIM) stood with them. 6As soon as HE had said, “I am HE,” they went backward and fell to the ground. 7HE asked them again, “WHO are you looking for?” They said, “Y’SH of Nazareth.” 8Y’SH answered, “I have told you that I am HE. If you are looking for ME, let these go their way.” 9HE said this that HIS saying might be fulfilled, “Of those whom YOU gave ME, I have lost none.” 10Simon Peter had a sword, drew it, struck the high priest’s servant Malchus and cut off his right ear. 11Y’SH said to Peter, “Put up YOUR sword into the sheath. Shall I not drink the cup which MY FATHER has given ME to drink?” 12The band and the captain and officers of the Yiews took Y’SH and bound HIM. 13They led HIM away to Annas first. He was the father-in-law of Caiaphas (the high priest). 14Caiaphas was he who gave counsel to the Yiews that it was expedient that ONE man should die for the people. 15Simon Peter followed Y’SH. So did another disciple. That disciple was known to the high priest. He went in with Y’SH into the palace of the high priest. 16Peter stood outside at the door. That other disciple who was known to the high priest went out and spoke to her who kept the door and brought Peter in. 17The damsel who kept the door said to Peter, “Aren’t you, also, one of this MAN’s disciples?” He said, “I am not.” 18The servants and officers who had made a fire of coals stood there. It was cold. They warmed themselves. Peter stood with them and warmed himself. 19The high priest asked Y’SH of HIS disciples and doctrine. 20Y’SH answered, “I spoke openly to the world. I ever taught in the synagogue and temple. The Yiews always resort there. I have said nothing in secret. 21Why do you ask ME? Ask those who heard ME what I have said to them. They know what I said.” 22When HE had thus spoken, one of the officers who stood by struck Y’SH with the palm of his hand. He said, “Do you answer the high priest so?” 23Y’SH answered, “If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil. If I have spoken well, why do you strike ME?” 24Annas had sent HIM bound to Caiaphas. 25Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said to HIM, “Aren’t you, also, one of HIS disciples?” He denied it and said, “I am not.” 26One of the servants of the high priest, a kinsman of him whose ear Peter cut off said, “Didn’t I see you in the garden with HIM?” 27Peter denied again. Immediately the cock crew. (Matthew 26:75 and Mark 14:72 further elaborates on this in that they say that Peter wept. Luke 22:61-62 says, “Y’SH turned and looked at Peter. Peter remembered the WORD of Y’SH…. Peter went out and wept bitterly.”} 28They led Y’SH from Caiaphas to the hall of judgment. It was early. They, themselves, did not go into the judgment hall lest they should be defiled. This was so that they might eat the Passover. 29Pilate went out to them. He said, “What accusation do you bring against this MAN?” 30They answered, “If HE were not a criminal, we would not have delivered HIM to you.” 31Pilate said to them, “Take HIM and judge HIM according to your law.” The Yiews said to HIM, “It is not lawful for us to put any man to death.” 32This was so the saying of Y’SH might be fulfilled which HE spoke signifying what death HE should die. 33Pilate entered into the judgment hall again. He called Y’SH and said to HIM, “Are YOU the KING of the Yiews?” 34Y’SH answered, “Do you say this thing of yourself or did others tell it to you of ME?”35Pilate answered, “Am I a Yiew? YOUR own nation and the chief priests have delivered YOU to ME. What have YOU done?” 36Y’SH answered, “MY kingdom is not of this world. If MY kingdom were of this world, MY servants would fight that I should not be delivered to the Yiews. But MY kingdom is not from here.” 37Pilate said to HIM, “Are YOU a king, then?” Y’SH answered, “You say that I am a king. To this end, I was born. For this cause, I came into the world. That is so that I should bear witness to the truth. Every one who is of the truth hears MY voice.” 38Pilate said to HIM, “What is truth?” When he had said this, he went out again to the Yiews. He said, “I find in HIM no fault at all. 39But you have a custom that I should release to you one at the passover. Will you that I release to you the KING of the Yiews?” 40They all cried again, “Not this man but Barabbas.” Barabbas was a robber.
Notations, Yohn 19
1Pilate whipped Y’SH. 2The soldiers platted a crown of thorns and put it and a purple robe on HIM. 3They said, “Hail, KING of the Yiews!” They struck HIM with their hands. 4Pilate went out again. He said, “I bring HIM out to you that you may know that I find no fault in HIM.” 5Y’SH came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them, “See the MAN!” 6When the chief priests and officers saw HIM, they cried out, “Execute HIM! Execute HIM!” Pilate said, “Take HIM and you execute HIM. I find no fault in HIM”. 7The Yiews answered, “We have a law. By our law HE ought to die because HE made HIMSELF the SON of ALMIGHTY YHWH.” 8When Pilate heard that saying, he was the more afraid. 9He went again into the judgment hall. He said to Y’SH, “Where are YOU from?” Y’SH did not give him an answer. 10Pilate said to HIM, “Don’t YOU speak to me? Don’t YOU know that I have power to execute YOU and have power to release YOU?” 11Y’SH answered, “You could have no power at all against ME except it were given you from above. He WHO delivered ME to you has the greater sin.” 12From then, Pilate tried to release HIM, but the Yiews cried out, “If you let this MAN go, you are not Caesar’s friend. Whoever makes himself a KING speaks against Caesar.” 13When Pilate heard that saying, he brought Y’SH out. He sat down in the judgment seat in a place called the Pavement. 14It was the preparation of the passover about the sixth hour. He said to the Yiews, “See your KING!” 15They cried out, “Away with HIM, away with HIM, execute HIM!” Pilate said to them, “Shall I execute your KING?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king but Caesar.” 16Pilate delivered HIM to them to be executed. They took Y’SH and led HIM away. 17HE (bearing the pole HE was execute on) went to Golgotha. {Yohn 19:17 says, “…HE, bearing the pole HE was executed on…” Luke 23:26 and Mark 15: 21 says Simon, a Cyrenian bore it, as does Matthew 27:32.} 18They executed HIM there and two others with HIM, one on either side and Y’SH in the midst.
19Pilate wrote a title and put it on the tree. The writing was, ‘Y’SH OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE YIEWS’. 20Many of the Yiews read this title. The place where Y’SH was executed was near the city. The title was written in Hebrew, Greek and Latin. 21The chief priests of the Yiews said to Pilate, “Don’t write, ‘The KING of the Yiews,’ but that HE said, I am KING of the Yiews.” 22Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.” 23The soldiers executed Y’SH and took HIS clothes and made four parts – to every soldier a part. HIS coat was without seam woven from the top throughout. 24They said, “Let us not tear it but cast lots as to whose it shall be.” This fulfilled the scripture, “They parted MY clothes among them and for MY coat they cast lots.” The soldiers did these things. {Matthew 27:35 says, “They parted HIS clothes, casting lots. That fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet, ‘They parted MY clothes among them. On MY vesture, they cast lots.’” Mark 15:24 says they parted HIS clothes. They cast lots on them to determine what every man should take. Matthew and Mark agree substantially with Luke 23:34 which says they parted HIS raiment and cast lots. However, Yohn 19:23 that they took HIS clothes and made four parts – to every soldier a part. His coat was without seam woven from the top throughout. They decided not to tear it but cast lots as to whose it should be. Yohn says this fulfilled the scripture, they parted my clothes among them and for my vesture they cast lots. The prophesy found in Psalms 22:28 actually says that they cast lots upon HIS vesture.} 25HIS mother stood by the tree Y’SH was executed on with HIS Aunt and Mary (the wife of Cleophas) and Mary Magdalene. 26When Y’SH saw HIS mother and the disciple standing by whom HE loved, HE said to HIS mother, “Woman, see your son!” 27Then HE said to the disciple, “See your mother!” That disciple took her to his own home from that hour. 28After this, Y’SH knew that all things were accomplished. That the scripture might be fulfilled, HE said, “I thirst.” 29There was set a vessel full of vinegar. They filled a sponge with vinegar, put it on hyssop and put it to HIS mouth. 30When Y’SH had received the vinegar, HE said, “It is finished.” HE bowed HIS head and gave up the GHOST. 31It was the preparation. The Yiews did not want the bodies to remain on the tree on the Sabbath day. That Sabbath day was a high day. They requested Pilate that their legs might be broken and that they might be taken away. 32The soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and the other who were executed with HIM. 33But when they came to Y’SH, they saw that HE was dead already, so they did not brake HIS legs. 34One of the soldiers pierced HIS side with a spear. There came out blood and water. 35He who saw it bore record. His record is true. He knows that he said true that you might believe. 36These things were done that the scripture should be fulfilled, “A bone of HIM shall not be broken.” 37Another scripture says, “They shall look on HIM WHOM they pierced.’ 38After this, Yioseph of Arimathaea (a disciple of Y’SH) asked Pilate secretly because he was afraid of the Yiews that he might take away the body of Y’SH. Pilate gave him leave. He came and took the body of Y’SH. 39Nicodemus, also, came. He at the first came to Y’SH by night and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes about a hundred pound weight. 40They took the body of Y’SH and wound IT in linen clothes with the spices as the way of the Yiews is to bury. 41There was a garden in the place where HE was executed. A new sepulcher was in the garden. Man was never yet laid in it. 42They laid Y’SH there because of the Yiews’ preparation day because the sepulcher was near at hand.

1While it was still dark, early the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene came to the sepulcher. She saw that the stone was taken away from the sepulcher. 2She ran to Simon Peter and the other disciple whom Y’SH loved. She said, “They have taken away Y’SH out of the sepulcher. We don’t know where they have laid HIM.” 3Peter and that other disciple went to the sepulcher. 4They both ran together. The other disciple outran Peter and came to the sepulcher first. 5He stooped down and saw the linen clothes lying. Yet, he did not go in. 6-7Simon Peter followed him and went into the sepulcher. He saw the linen clothes lie. The napkin that was about HIS head was not lying with the linen clothes but was wrapped together in a place by itself. 8That other disciple who came to the sepulcher first, also went into the sepulcher. He saw and believed. 9As yet, they did not know the scripture that HE must rise again from the dead. 10The disciples went away to their own home.
11Mary stood outside the sepulcher crying. As she cried, she stooped down and looked into the sepulcher 12She saw two angELs in white sitting one at the head and the other at the feet where the body of Y’SH had lain. 13They said to her, “Woman, why are you crying?” She said to them, “Because they have taken away Y’SH and I don’t know where they have laid HIM.” 14When she had said this, she turned herself back and saw Y’SH standing. She did not know that it was Y’SH. 15Y’SH said to her, “Woman, why do you cry? Whom are you looking for?” She supposed HIM to be the gardener. She said, “SIR, if YOU have taken HIM from here, tell me where you have laid HIM and I will take HIM away.” 16Y’SH said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to HIM, “MASTER.” 17Y’SH said to her, “Don’t touch ME. I have not yet gone up to MY FATHER. Go to MY brethren. Say to them, ‘I go up to MY FATHER and your FATHER. I go up to MY ALMIGHTY and your ALMIGHTY.’” 18Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen Y’SH and that HE had said these things to her.
19It was the same day – the first day of the week at evening. The doors were shut because they were afraid of the Yiews. The disciples were assembled. Y’SH stood in the midst. HE said to them, “Peace to you.” 20HE showed them HIS hands and side. The disciples were glad when they saw the MASTER. 21Then Y’SH said, “Peace to you. As MY FATHER has sent ME, even so I send you.” 22When HE had said this, HE breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the HOLY GHOST. 23Whosever sins you remit, they are remitted to them. Whosever sins you retain, they are retained.” {Acts the first and second chapters state that the baptism of the HOLY GHOST occurred at Pentecost.} 24But Thomas Didymus – one of the twelve – was not with them when Y’SH came. 25The other disciples said to him, “We have seen the MASTER.” But he said, “Except I see in HIS hands the print of the nails, put MY finger into the print of the nails and thrust MY hand into HIS side, I will not believe.” 26Eight days later, HIS disciples and Thomas were within. The doors were shut. Y’SH stood in the midst. HE said, “Peace to you. 27Thomas, reach here your finger and see MY hands. Reach here your hand and thrust it into MY side. Don’t be faithless but believe.” 28Thomas answered, “My MASTER and my ALMIGHTY.” 29Y’SH said to HIM, “Thomas, because you have seen ME, you have believed. Those who have not seen me and yet have believed are blessed.” 30Y’SH did many other signs in the presence of HIS disciples. They are not written in this book. 31These are written that you might believe that Y’SH is the ANOINTED ONE (the SON of ALMIGHTY YHWH) and, believing, you might have life through HIS name.

1Y’SH showed HIMSELF to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias again. 2Simon Peter, Thomas (called Didymus), Nathanael (of Cana in Galilee), the sons of Zebedee and two other of HIS disciples were together. 3Simon Peter said, “I am going fishing.” They said, “We will go with you.” They entered a ship immediately. They caught nothing that night. 4In the morning, Y’SH stood on the shore. The disciples did not know that it was Y’SH. 5Y’SH said, “Children, have you any food?” They answered, “No.” 6HE said, “Throw the net on the right side of the ship and you will find fish.” They threw it and were not able to draw it in for the number of fish. 7That disciple whom Y’SH loved said to Peter, “HE is the MASTER.” When Simon Peter heard that HE was the MASTER, he put on his fisher’s coat, (for he was naked,) and jumped into the sea. 8The other disciples came in a little ship. They were not far from land about two hundred cubits. They drug the net with fish. 9As soon as they came to land, they saw a fire of coals there and fish on it and bread. 10Y’SH said to them, “Bring of the fish which you have caught.” 11Simon Peter drew the net to land full of great fish, a hundred and fifty-three. For all there were so many, yet the net was not broken. 12Y’SH said, “Come and eat.” None of the disciples were willing to ask HIM, “WHO are YOU?” They knew that HE was the MASTER. 13Y’SH came, took bread and gave it and fish to them. 14This is the third time that Y’SH showed HIMSELF to HIS disciples after HE was risen from the dead.
15So when they had eaten, Y’SH said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Yionas, do you love ME more than these?” He said, “Yes, MASTER. YOU know that I love YOU.” HE said to him, “Feed MY lambs.” 16HE said to HIM again the second time, “Simon, son of Yionas, do you love ME?” Simon Peter said, “Yes, MASTER, YOU know that I love YOU.” HE said, “Feed MY sheep.” 17HE said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Yionas, do you love ME?” Peter was grieved because HE said three times, “Do you love ME?” He said, “MASTER, YOU know all things. YOU know that I love YOU.” Y’SH said to him, “Feed MY sheep. 18When you were young, you put on your own clothes and walked where you would. When you are old, you will stretch out your hands. Another shall gird and carry you where you would not.” 19This HE spoke, signifying by what death HE should glorify ALMIGHTY YHWH. When HE had spoken this, HE said to Simon Peter, “Follow ME.” 20Peter saw the disciple whom Y’SH loved following, who, also, leaned on HIS breast at supper and said, “MASTER, who is HE who will betray YOU?” 21Peter said, “MASTER, what shall this man do?” 22Y’SH said to him, “If I will that he wait till I come, what is that to you? You follow ME.” 23This saying went abroad among the brethren that that disciple should not die. Y’SH did not say to him, “He shall not die,” but, “If I will that he wait till I come, what is that to you?” 24This is the disciple who testifies of and wrote these things. We know that his testimony is true. 25There are, also, many other things which Y’SH did. If they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. So be it.

43The following day, Y’SH would go into Galilee. HE found Philip and said, “Follow ME.” 44Philip was of Bethsaida (the city of Andrew and Peter). 45Philip found NathanaEL and said, “We have found HIM of WHOM Moses wrote in the law and the prophets, (Y’SH of Nazareth – the son of Yioseph).” 46NathanaEL said, “Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth?” Philip said, “Come and see.” 47Y’SH saw NathanaEL coming to HIM. HE said, “See an YisraELite indeed in whom is no guile!” 48NathanaEL said, “Where do YOU know me from?” Y’SH answered, “Before Philip called you under the fig tree, I saw you.” 49NathanaEL said, “MASTER, YOU are the SON of ALMIGHTY YHWH. YOU are the KING of YisraEL.” 50Y’SH asked, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ you believe? You shall see greater things than these. 51Hereafter, you shall see heaven open and the angELs of ALMIGHTY YHWH going up and coming down on the SON of man.” (The term ‘the son of man’ is not used only in relation to the ANOINTED ONE, but is also used in the Old Testament to apply to others.}

Notations, Yohn 8
1Y’SH went to the mount of Olives. 2Early in the morning, HE came again into the temple. All the people came to HIM. HE sat down and taught them. 3-4The writers and Pharisees brought to HIM a woman taken in adultery. When they had set her in the midst, they said to HIM, “MASTER, this woman was taken in adultery in the very act. 5Moses in the law commanded us that such should be stoned. What do YOU say?” 6They said this tempting HIM that they might have to accuse HIM. Y’SH stooped down. He wrote on the ground with HIS finger. 7When they continued to ask HIM, HE rose and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you first throw a rock at her.” 8HE stooped down again and wrote on the ground. 9Those who heard it were convicted by their own conscience and went out one by one beginning at the eldest even to the last. Y’SH and the woman were left alone. 10Y’SH stood up and saw no one but the woman. HE said to her, “Woman, where are your accusers? Has no man condemned you?” 11She said, “No man, MASTER.” Y’SH said to her, “Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.” {Even though HE did not condemn her, notice that he did say to go and sin no more. Notice, too, that even though these people brought the woman taken in adultery, they did not bring the man. Both shared equal guilt.}

Notations, Yohn 20
Notations, Yohn 21
So be it.
